HOD's Cup: Defending Champion Reclaim Title

By: NAPADS Press  In the thrilling Public Administration Department HOD's Cup final that kept fans on the edge of their seats, defending champions, the HND 2, won a nail-biting contest on penalties after coming from behind three times to draw 3-3 in regulation time against the ND 2 students. The match was played at Ilaji Resort Center Stadium on Saturday 17th June, 2023. The game started with the ND 2 taking the lead early in the game through a well-taken goal by their star striker. The HND 2 fought back and equalized moments later with a stunning long-range effort by their midfielder. However, the ND 2 regained their lead just before halftime with a well-placed shot from team play. SUG Olympic: Administrator qualifies for semi final, hunts down Electrical Engineering 1-0

By: Mr_Positivism The Public Administration team played against Electrical Engineering department in the Students Union Government (SUG) Olympics game at the Main Pitch, North Campus. Both team played against each other in other to qualify for the semi final of the competition which kicked off about two weeks ago. It's quite applaudable as Public Administration team were able to tactically deploy their vibrancy in the game as they proof to be more skillful than their opponent. Adebimpe Mubarak (ND 1) was able to conceive a goal against the Electrical Engineering department from a professional assist kick out of box 18 when the play head the ball into the net with helpless keeper attempt. SRC writes to meet with the executives, plan to review projects

By: NAPADS Press The NAPADS Students Representative Council (SRC) has written a letter of invitation to the National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPADS) Executive council to a meeting. According to the letter, the meeting will be coming up on Friday 2nd of June, 2023 by 2:00 PM Prompt at NAPADS Library.  The letter which is dated 30th of May, 2023 aims at reviewing the project done so far as well as the ongoing project by the current administration led by Comrade Ude Chinaza Nnena.  The following Executives should make themselves available: President, General Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Sports Director, Social Director and Welfare, the letter reads.

NAPADS SRC: Rubber stamp or lacking?

The exigencies of the legislature, executive and judiciary guarantees the right sanity and rights of the people in respect to the effective discharge of duties of these branches of government.  Fortunately for the National Association of Public Administration Students, The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter, which has an able executive body who carries out varieties of projects and activities in the interest of the students, and of course indefatigable lecturers who oversees the affairs of the association (Staff advisers).
