CONCERNS RISE AS NAPADS SUSPENDS SOCIAL DIRECTOR OVER EVENT HANDLING
By: NAPADS Press A wave of concern has emerged within the Department of Public Administration at National Association of Public Administration Students, The Polytechnic Ibadan, following the suspension of the Social Director over issues linked to the Freshers’ Night event held during the first semester. In an official memorandum issued by the Student Representatives Council (SRC) dated April 11, 2026, the legislative arm announced that the Social Director, Olusegun Samuel has been suspended from all responsibilities relating to the planning, coordination, and execution of departmental social activities. The directive, however, clarified that the officer remains in position but is barred from operational duties pending further review.
