This event followed a comprehensive scrutiny and screening process designed to ensure the integrity and transparency of the election. The election served as a significant milestone in the leadership transition of the SRC, which plays a critical role in representing the student body and voicing their concerns and interests. RISE AGENDA CLINCHES VICTORY IN TRANSPARENT PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION ELECTIONS

By: Olabosinde Israel Oluwapelumi  The Department of Public Administration, The Polytechnic Ibadan, held a peaceful, transparent, and democratic departmental election on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The process culminated in the emergence of Aluko Adedeji David, the presidential candidate of the RISE Agenda, as President-elect. The election was conducted under the capable leadership of the incumbent departmental president, Comrade Adekanbi Adeyinka Oluwapelumi, with the full support of the Electoral Committee chaired by Comrade Olumide Mulero. Voting commenced promptly at 10:00 AM at the Public Administration Secretariat. The exercise was monitored by the Head of Department, Dr. O.O Oyewo, along with lecturers Mr. Yusuf Wahab and Mrs. O A. OLABODE ensuring due process and transparency.
