Breaking: NAPADS Sport Director 1 Suspended Indefinitely.

The Legislative Council; National Association of Public Administration Students' (NAPADS SRC); The Polytechnic, Ibadan has suspend Comrade Jimoh Oladele (a student of HND 2) from the office of the Sport Director 1 till further notice. 




The decision was made as a result of noticeable and evidential financial misappropriation of funds, lack of accountability and insorbodination which was noticed aftermath an interview conducted with the Comrade held on Tuesday, 18th May 2021 at the NAPADS secretariat.


The reason being that, he (Sport 1) has failed to make the right planning for the football competition that is tagged HOD's cup. According to the  Speaker, Honourable Akindele David, "what is the essence of organizing HOD's cup, in the absence of necessary plans coupled with excessive act of insorbodination?. It means the sport director is not smart enough in making his plan ". Also, the  budget for the competition by the sport director give a deficit result ( i.e. the total expenditure is more than the total revenue). 


"However, the Sport Director 2 (Comrade Ayokunnumi Eritomiwa from ND 2) will take over all responsibilities as from Wednesday, 19th May, 2021", the Speaker affirms.

PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
