BREAKING: NAPADS SPORT DIRECTOR 1 REINSTATED

 The Sport Director 1 Comrade Oladele Jimoh of The National Association of Public Administration Students' (NAPADS) The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter today Wednesday 26th May, 2021 has been reinstated as the Sport Director 1 of the association.

This is as result of the intervention of the Management (Staff Adviser and Dignitaries) of the department in order to maintain peace, harmony and cordiality amongst students of the association.



It could recalled that the Sport Director 1 was suspended May 18th, 2021 by the legislative arm due to allegations ranging from Misappropriation, Lack of Accountability and Insurbodination. 

However, having been exonerated after several succinct and proper investigation into the claim, the Management of the association hereby through the Staff Adviser (Barrister Diekola) helped to settle all rifts and every issues sorrounding the recent happenings.


Moreso, in an interview with the NLC Speaker (Hon. David) who was present at the meeting, "Due to the intervention of the Staff Adviser who made us to know we have the right to suspend members of the executive, but for us to have a good stand regarding the ongoing HOD Cup and Faculty Deans Cup, the Staff Adviser noted that the matter should be resolved amicably", he said.


On the hand, in a brief talk with the Sport Director 1, "Well, the NLC exercised their powers".

I appealed the suspension and tried to seek redress

"The management of the department is like a watchdog for the whole students in the department, so they did the wise thing by coming in to foster peace".

"I feel good, I have been working for the interest of the department and association so I will feel better and the heat and pressure coming from different quarters will definitely lessen".


"Also, I will like to apologize to anyone that I might have offended in the course of this pandemonium.

And I thank everyone for their efforts so far.

NAPADS will always work to improve the lives of her students". he concluded.
