2021 NAPADS ELECTION; BAN LIFTED AS ELECTION CALENDAR SCHEDULED

The National Association of Public Administration Students' of The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter has lifted the political ban for eligible students of the department to partake or fill a position to steer the affairs of the association for the next academic session.


According to a statement released by the President of the Association (Com. Adeyemo Emmanuel through the Public Relations Officer (Com. Oladokun Abiola) on 4th June, 2021. "With regards to the earlier memo sent out by NAPADS concerning the lift of ban, please find attached the calendar for the coming election".


Lift of ban: Thursday 3rd of June

Sales of form: Thursday 3rd - Monday 7th of June



Screening of Aspirants: Tuesday 8th of June, 2:00pm @ NAPADS SECRETARIAT

Manifesto & Presidential Debate: Thursday 10th of June,  2:00pm @ PAD HALL


Election Day: Friday 11th of June, 8:00am, PAD HALL.


Therefore, prospective aspirants are advised to meet the Electoral Committee to obtain their form within the short period of time allocated for the electioneering process.

  BY: NAPADS press In an open contest of NAPADS Executives election of The Department of Public Administration.The Polytechnic, Ibadan, held today November 7, 2024, Adekanbi Adeyinka Oluwapelumi emerges as National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPADS)President-elect. The National Association of Public Administration Students Electoral Committee (NAPADSEC) announced the results of the 2024/25 NAPADS election held through a realease. The election process was led by the Head of Department with the presence of the department lecturers,stakeholders,Electoral Committee of the department,NAPADS press and Candidates Agents to witness and coordinate the voting process. The open election, conducted for the HND 2 and ND 2 classes, witnessed active student participation in the democratic process, with significant enthusiasm displayed throughout the day with a total number of 152 voters. PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
