NAPADS 2019/2020 SESSION FINALISTS WEEK; A MOMENT OF UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE

The 2019/2020 finalist Week of the National Association of Public Administration Students' (NAPADS) The Polytechnic, Ibadan was an experience filled with elegance, a moment of mutuality and cordiality. The laudable event lasted 5 days for celebrating the final year students (HND 2 & ND2) of the department.



The Association, under the administration of Comrade Emmanuel Adeyemo (Era of Optimism), organized an entertaining finalists' week exactly last week from 25th to 29th May 2021. The week is meant to commemorate the final year students ( HND 2 &ND2) in the great department for their performance, support, appreciation and felicitation.




The finalists week organised by the Social Director of the Association, Comrade Adeshina Zainab. 

The first day was Monday hence, marked the commencement of the finalists week, and it was slated for Corporate Wears, Tuesday was Back-to-school day; thus, a moment where students put on secondary school uniform as if they were going back to old-time days in primary school.

Simultaneously, Wednesday, was Jersey day; as students put on their Jersey to represent their various sports team. Thursday was Denim on Denim wear, and lastly, Friday was for Native attire and it was a gbe body gbe body day!!!! The grand finale at front of Departmental Hall.



According to Albert (HND 2), "this event is meant to show love and unity among ourselves because we're glad that we started this academic program together and we're finishing it very soon hale and hearty", he said

ADEKANBI ADEYINKA OLUWAPELUMI EMERGES AS RHE NEW NAPADS PRESIDENT

  BY: NAPADS press In an open contest of NAPADS Executives election of The Department of Public Administration.The Polytechnic, Ibadan, held today November 7, 2024, Adekanbi Adeyinka Oluwapelumi emerges as National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPADS)President-elect. The National Association of Public Administration Students Electoral Committee (NAPADSEC) announced the results of the 2024/25 NAPADS election held through a realease. The election process was led by the Head of Department with the presence of the department lecturers,stakeholders,Electoral Committee of the department,NAPADS press and Candidates Agents to witness and coordinate the voting process. The open election, conducted for the HND 2 and ND 2 classes, witnessed active student participation in the democratic process, with significant enthusiasm displayed throughout the day with a total number of 152 voters. PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
