Transition in NAPADS as ERA of Transformation Begins, and Press Board Appoints new Members  2020/2021 Academic Session

 National Association of Public Administration Students', The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter has appointed another set of executives, for the 2020/2021 academic session.


The swearing-in and handing-over ceremony took place on 28th July 2021 at exactly 12 noon in the HND2 class.



The event featured the presence of the HOD, Dr. Mrs. R. A. Akinseye, Staff Adviser: Barr. O. J. Diekola, Mr. Y.B. Wahab, and others.



the handing over ceremony of the NAPADS Executives was done by Comrade Adeyemo led Administration 2019/2020 who handed over to comrade ibunkun Administration welcome and congratulate the newly elected executive for their readiness to hold and serve the executive seat/ office.


In his word, he pinpoints/ pointed how unity is of the highest importance in an administration, he said the newly elected /executive member should make sure peace, love, and unity exist within the members .he further said the newly elected president shouldn't see himself as the alpha & omega and that in every of his operation, he should involve /carry his members along because unity/united in operation bring success to an administration.



Also, The editorial board for the National Association of Public Administration Students', (NAPADS) The Polytechnic, Ibadan chapter appointed another set of her executives for the Press Board for the 2020/2021 academic session


The new executives of the Editorial board are;


 Comrade Ibikunle Taoheed Olamide -Editor-in-chief, Comrade Busari Mariam Adeola - General secretary, Comrade Raheem Naheem - Production Manager, Comrade Sulaimon Taiwo Kamal - Deputy Editor-in-chief, Comrade Ogungbaro Opeyemi - Protocol Officer, Comrade Olasupo Aminat - Treasurer, Comrade Ojelere Timothy- Political Editor, Comrade Adewoyin Blessing - Senior Editor.



 However, there were series of advice, admonition, commendations, and recommendations for both the outgoing and the incoming Executives at their various arms.




The NAPADS HOD DR. MRS RISIKAT AKINSEYE gave thanks to the heavenly God for the success of the previous administration. she said much respect and appreciation should be given to barrister O. J DIEKOLA, because he has supported and demonstrated well to comrade Adeyemo led administration which also led to the success of the administration. In her word of Admonition to The Newly elected executives, she said the newly elected executive shouldn't see their executive seats as the seats for embezzlement of NAPADS  funds 




Also, NAPADS staff and adviser Mr. O . J DIEKOLA commended the era of optimism, he said his era has done well, in terms of transparency and that the incoming executive should imbibe the culture of transparency and accountability.





Mr. Y . F wahab also praises the era of optimism for their achievements, he further said the new dawn should serve as a new transformation in moving the department forward 







The outgoing Editor-in-chief of NAPADS Press/Editorial Board, Comrade Gbolagade Ayobami Sunday in his welcome address, appreciated the management of the department for their support and affirms that everybody should try to build a good name, your name can not be bought any matter amount of money we have, our names are valuable.



Comrade Gbolagade also appreciated the presence of the head of the department, Doctor Mrs. R.A Akinseye, the Staff Adviser Barrister the Diekola, Mr. Wahab , the outgoing and the elected Napads excos and former Editor in Chief of NAPADS Press Board TPI for the time sacrificed to be present. 




Comrade Ojatunwase the former EIC, praised the Editorial board for the successful Administration and inauguration of new executives.


He tasks council members to lend their support to the new team while urging the new executives not to allow their Interests to override the collective interest of the council.

ADEKANBI ADEYINKA OLUWAPELUMI EMERGES AS RHE NEW NAPADS PRESIDENT

The National Association of Public Administration Students Electoral Committee (NAPADSEC) announced the results of the 2024/25 NAPADS election held through a realease. The election process was led by the Head of Department with the presence of the department lecturers,stakeholders,Electoral Committee of the department,NAPADS press and Candidates Agents to witness and coordinate the voting process. PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
