 By: NAPADS Press Council Do you know your HOD? Dr. Akinseye Risikat Abimbola  Dr. Akinseye Risikat Abimbola was born in Ibadan, Oyo state on the 22nd of April, some decades ago. She attended kwara polytechnic Secondary School, Ilorin. Later proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for her first degree in 1998 and graduated with B.A Public Administration. Her M.sc in public Administration was Obtained from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife Osun State, Nigeria in 2011. She is just an Oliver twist as she went back to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where she bagged her Ph.D. in Public Administration in the year 2016. She is a prolific writer and a researcher.   The Department public administration , The polytechnic,Ibadan chapter is just an extraordinary department with special breeds. It is not farfetched that it is second-to-none in all ramifications. It is a good news and  reward for all our pillars (lecturers)and the management of the department that they are producing very versatile students that really worth the standard and good ambassadors of the citadel of academics.As we have our 2019 alumnus (Faozy O. Gazaly) of the great department doing well and breaking even, by emerging as a member of the oyo state youth Parliament... Another achievement of academic excellence in public Administration as two lecturers of the department bagged Doctorate degree

The department of public administration of the prestigious institution, The polytechnic, Ibadan staff have catapulted to more qualifications in order to promote the quality of the great department. This is as a result of how  two of the departmental lecturers bagged Ph.D. in their field of study. The lecturers involved are; Dr. Adeyeye Titus Ojo and Dr. Oyekunle Oluseye Oyewo. Dr. Adeyeye T. O graduated from Obafemi awolowo university (OAU) Ile-Ife, where he bagged  B.sc (Hon’s) Political Science in 1993. He proceeded to University of Ibadan (U.I) in 1998 where he graduated with M.Sc. (Political Science ) with special interest in Public Administration. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria. Breaking news,As a member of NAPADS SRC was suspended indefinitely

By NAPADS press    The Students Representative Council (SRC); National Association of Public Administration Students' (NAPADS SRC); The Polytechnic, Ibadan has suspended one of the SRC members, Honorable Adeniran Boluwatife T (a student of ND2) indefinitely for breaching the constitution of the department.    The information reached the NAPADS press board at 12:59pm on 18th ,Nov.2021 that one of the SRC members has been suspended due to his attitude towards meetings.   "However, the suspension takes effect immediately from 15th Nov 2021" till further notice.

NAPADS Alumni renovates and donate library materials to the department

The Alumni, who are The first set of National Association of public administration students donated library materials to the department. The materials donated to PAD departmental library Thursday, 5th of November, 2021  was a very memorable day for the department of public administration, The polytechnic, Ibadan at 10:30hours of the day, the departmental library had the presence of the Alumni, the Dean of faculty of business and communication studies Dr. Mrs. Oladunni A.
