The football match finally came on stage on 18th of November, 2021, although the match was initially stated to open by 3 pm but later commenced at exactly 4:18 pm.

ND1 team

The match started well on a very high tension from ND 2 students who are the defending champion of 2019/2020 HOD's cup,  were scared to be defeated by their senior colleague in HND 1,probably because of their  recognition as the defending champion so not to stain their previous professional record as the defending champion.

It was a very interesting and peaceful match right from the start, first half ended with 0-0 and later in the second half ND 2 tried to score using  various attempts and numerous tactics but were not well used to dominate a goal for them. The match later ended with no goal while ND2 win in a penalty shoot-out 4-3.

However, the second match was between HND 2 and ND 1. The match set on foot well and was equally an interesting one.

ND1 played fantastically against HND2 but the players were not smart enough to secure a win with their  experienced seniors the HND2. the  HND 2  who played with tactics, experiences, and synergy to prove seniority to their inexperienced juniors , dominated  the game  both in the  first half and second half. the match was drawn and ended with 0-0 while penalty kicks were placed to justify the winner, HND 2 won 5-4 against ND1 from the kicks.

ND2 team

The matches went well and there was no complaint from any of the team, the referee who is among the immediate past stakeholders of the last administration of the department, Com. Albert in conjunction with present Ogun state students association president, Com. Emmanuel Oluwole Moses showed a great sense of fair play.
