NAPADS Alumni renovates and donate library materials to the department



The Alumni, who are The first set of National Association of public administration students donated library materials to the department.

Thursday, 5th of November, 2021  was a very memorable day for the department of public administration, The polytechnic, Ibadan at 10:30hours of the day, the departmental library had the presence of the Alumni, the Dean of faculty of business and communication studies Dr. Mrs. Oladunni A. Akinola,  The Head of the department of public administration Dr. Mrs. Risikat. A. Akinseye the staff adviser Mr. Y.B. Wahab, some members of the executive of NAPADS led by comrade Bamigbade Ibunkun and members of the NAPADS press.

At the event the Dean of the faculty Dr. Mrs. Oladunni A. Akinola, while dressing the alumni,  she commended their efforts for donating library materials such as ( fan,  projector, and books that all encompasses like cooperative, human resource management, public administration, development administration, organization behavior, public personnel management to mention but few) adding that what they have done will go down history, as it has contributed to the progress of the department which many students will benefit from.

She added that the material brought has marked their contributions to knowledge, and what they have done today will serve as an example for the upcoming administrators.



The HOD Dr. Mrs. Risikat. A. Akinseye, in her words, said it is a great privilege to see Alumni of this department contributing their quota to improve the standard of the great department. 


She further appeals to the Alumni not to relent on their effort and also encourages other Alumnus to come so that they can equally continue from where they have stopped adding that Oliver twist will always ask for more. she later prayed for the alumni that the heavenly God will open the way and increase them with blessings.

However, the chairman of NAPADS *96/02* *ALUMNI* Said that on behalf of his set, It is a great privilege that the department accepts their contributions and donations as an Alumni, he also promised that their set will extend the library roof and also widen the library to be spacious for students to study.

The visit was a very great one, the Head of the department, later prayed for Oyo state at large, The polytechnic, Ibadan, the faculty of business and communications studies, the department of public administration, the Alumni (the donors), and the young shall grow(the presents administrators). She finally concluded that all administrators are leaders and prayed that she wish one of her products will surely be a leader of this great nation.

ADEKANBI ADEYINKA OLUWAPELUMI EMERGES AS RHE NEW NAPADS PRESIDENT

The National Association of Public Administration Students Electoral Committee (NAPADSEC) announced the results of the 2024/25 NAPADS election held through a realease. The election process was led by the Head of Department with the presence of the department lecturers,stakeholders,Electoral Committee of the department,NAPADS press and Candidates Agents to witness and coordinate the voting process. PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
