NAPADS Football:

 HND1 Knocks Out ND2 in HOD'S Cup Competition, as HND1 Managed to Qualify with Penalty Shoot out Against ND2, the defending champion since 2021

The HOD’s cup hosted by the National Association Of Public Administration Students (NAPADS )for the session 2021/2022 was grand to develop Harmony and a Healthy sporting environment among the students of the department. The HOD's cup which was slated for 3days started on Monday 21st, 2022.


The first match was between the ND I and HND 2. 2:1 where the ND1 team won the match by 2 goals to 1. 


The second match was between 

ND 2 PT vs ND 2 A and ND 2 A won with a penalty shoot out


HND 1vs ND 2 B, HND 1 win with penalty shoot out




The second-day which is Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

The tournament was graced by the Head of the department, Dr R.A Akinseye and many other Stakeholders of the department.



The Head of the department addressed the players and inspired them. In her world of admonition, she commends the efforts of the excos for organizing such a friendly interclass match for the students. Adding that “ The friendly match tagged as HOD’s cup that the department was in support of the football exercise and she encourages the teams to take it as an exercise which is part of the academic process. 


However, she encouraged them to be fairly enough while playing so that there won’t be any records of casualty or injuries.





The Head of the department kicked the ball to commence the Match.


The first match was between ND 2 PT and ND 1 and ND 2 PT won   Against ND1 by 3 to 1 while the second match was between HND1 and ND2 who use to be the defending champion and the strongest team of the department .




The match was full of excitement and curiosity. Both teams tried their best to win. the ND2 were such a strong team and showed their excellent skill and performance but in the end, the HND1 team won against ND2 Team who has been the defending champion since 2021 by penalty shootout.



Final stage coming up on Wednesday, March 23 between ND 2 PT and HND 1 at North main pitch by 12 pm.

ADEKANBI ADEYINKA OLUWAPELUMI EMERGES AS RHE NEW NAPADS PRESIDENT

PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
