INAUGURATION FOR THE NEW NAPADS EXECUTIVES

The inauguration of the National association of public administration students’ (NAPADS) executives was duly carried out by the department today, Monday 19th of September, 2022, at the NAPADS resource center.



The inauguration exercise was anchored by Barrister Diekola who urged the newly appointed executives to be ready for the tasks before them. "You’re not just to bear the title, simply because we didn’t consider tribes or any other things" he said.       



Dr Mrs Risikat also advice them to heed to the words of their staff adviser, she also appreciated the con-census of other presidential candidate. She expressed her joy and admonition about the record and barrier breaking first female president of the department in history. She also sympathized with the other aspirant for the position of the president as he didn't emerge, and urged him to support the chosen President in her administration.


 Comrade Adetoro Usman; who was automatically announced as the department stakeholders chairman, appreciated the efforts and words of advice of the lecturers during the time he was aspiring for the presidential position. He said he will always remember their emphasis on the saying that they need to serve the department. 


"You’re not cut off from the system as stakeholders, your contributions will be appreciated in their administration, barrister Diekola said to them."



"It is a call to service, people do call me a politician but I will always say no I’m here to govern, it’s not yet time to play politics, I will sincerely do my best to serve as the president, comrade Ude Chinaza Nnenna; the newly appointed president uttered that as a short remark."


Barrister Diekola lead the swearing oath of allegiance and the newly appointed executives said after him, Then the immediate past president of NAPADS  Comrade Bamigbade Ibukun Adeniyi did the handing over properly and the executives were officially congratulated for their various positions.



In attendance was Dr. (Mrs) R.A. Akinseye (HOD), Barr. O.J. Diekola (Staff Adviser), Mr. Y.B. Wahab, Mrs. Olayinka Oke, the outgoing President of the department, other notable stakeholders of the department and observers alike.

    This is unusual though, but due to the unsuccessful administration of the outgoing excos led to the appointment of the new executive rather than election. This process is even peaceful, unlike the tension of election then 😂.
