Press crew: can we meet you sir?
Singer: My name is Ogungbade Sesan Damilola. HND 2 student of Public Administration, The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
Press crew: we learnt that you released a song that went viral on audiomack, what is the title of the song?
Singer: It is actually a cover titled Momo riri re. It was released in the month of June. Momo riri re is actually a song originally sang by Femi Omotosho. It is a song that actually speaks more about the Wonder working works of God and his imminent mercy to man which can not be overlooked.
Press crew:What prompted the release of the song?
Singer : I only released 2 songs which are Olugbeja and Momo riri re,It was released a month plus before Momo riri re.Actually, Olugbeja was sang since 2020 while Momo riri re was sang in 2022.Momo riri was just a ministration I did and was recorded that day unknowing to me by the sound engineer while Olugbeja was just an inspiration I sang and recorded on phone which was very clear.
Press crew: What impact do you want to make with it among students being a Gospel song?
Singer: Well, I believe part of the assignment God as given me as a choir coordinator in three different campus fellowships is to preach the gospel of christ,equip men and coordinate them in my capacity to see them gaining mastery in what they do and What God has given to them.
Press crew: What are the challenges you faced in the production of the song?
Singer: Well, challenges from getting things together and composing and getting sounds from God is not as easy as people think.
Press crew: Is there other pending song you’re about to release?
Singer:I am still working on it and still trusting God on that aspect.
Press crew: Who are those that have helped in the successful production of the songs?
Singer: My choir coordinator, my colleagues and friends in ministry including my family. They have been so supportive in prayers and even in every other aspect.
Press crew: you are a student of public administration and you are also a singer which we believe you should be in music department precisely, do you see any career opportunity in singing?
Singer: Well, that depends on the plans of God but I see God having me to do something in line with sounds as an agent of revival.
Press crew: what is your advice for students who have the same passion like you?
Singer: My encouragement is stay consistent and don't relent... Keep doing what you can do because you never can tell who God has assigned for you..
