Banking and Finance defeats Public Administration 2-0

Public Administration students lost 2-0 to their counterpart, Banking and Finance in a friendly match today 11th November, 2022 at the North Campus main field.
The match went in favour of Banking and Finance department as two second half goals proved enough to seal the victory after a goalless first half.
Despite the skills and resilience of students of NAPADS, the Bankers were able to put two goals past them - an own goal, and a controversial penalty.
While responding to the NAPADS Press Crew, Com. Owolabi Suleiman, the Sport Director of Banking and Finance Department gave thanks to Almighty God for the peaceful coordination of students during and after the friendly match.
"We previously had several matches with other departments and in essence, this match was organized so as to foster unity, despite the fact that we’re from different faculty", he added.
In the words of Comrade Oyebade Ogooluwa Julius, the NAPADS Sport Director, "In the first half of the match, my players were doing well on the field. Not until the second half when some players showed too much interest in being on the field, which I shuffled them in because I believe it’s just a friendly match and it’s not bad if everyone played".
Comrade Ogooluwa added that some of the faults also came from the referee's decision. "But definitely, we’re going to work on our lapses in other to perform well in the subsequent match that would be coming up next week. Losing a match is not the end, I believe that we are going to come back stronger", Ogooluwa concluded.
