NAPADs inaugurate SRC members; Anjorin Oluwafemi emerged as the new Speaker

The National Association of Public Administration Department Students (NAPADS) inaugurated the Students Representative Council (SRC) members of the department virtually on 30th December, 2022.  

The Inauguration programme was anchored by Hon. Adewole Aminat and Com. Adetoro Usman, the department Stakeholder Chairman.

After the introduction of all aspiring candidates of the SRC, Hon. Adewole Aminat took her time to explain what is expected of the members, while also admonishing them to take their class interest at heart in the discharge of their duties. 

Shortly after, the aspirants were all inaugurated and Anjorin Oluwafemi, HND 2, Full Time, was declared as the the new Speaker of the Council.

Below are the names of the Principal Officers of the NAPADS SRC 2022/2023:

1. Anjorin Oluwafemi - Speaker

2. Oyemeh Favour -Deputy Speaker

3. Oganbule Esther - Chief Clerk

4. Adepoju Adewale - Majority Leader

5. Olasunmbo Taiwo - Chief Whip

6. Fagbemi Nurudeen - Minority Leader

7.Others as members of the house.

The Department's President, Com. Ude Chinaza Nnenna in her speech thanked everyone present at the inauguration and as well congratulated the newly inaugurated SRC members. 

The newly inaugurated SRC Speaker, Anjorin Oluwafemi in his own remarks implore all members of the SRC to work in unison in other to achieve common goal.

The programme was declared closed afterwards.

In attendance were the Department President, Com. Ude Chinaza Nnenna, General Secretary, Com. Olayiwola Azeez Bamidele, Hon. Adewole Aminat, Com. Adetoro Usman, Class Reps across all levels of the department, Stakeholders of the department and NAPADS Press Crew.

EXAM ALERT: NAPADS REMINDS STUDENTS OF ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY

  By: Oladele Ezekiel Oluwatobi The National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPADS) has issued a reminder to students of the Public Administration department to adhere to examination rules and regulations as they prepare for their upcoming exams. In a document released today, February 26th, 2025, NAPADS emphasized the importance of following the guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful examination process. All public administration students are expected to wear a white shirt, black trousers or skirts, and corporate shoes while appearing for their exams. Conversely, slippers and slides are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. Furthermore, students are warned against bringing mobile phones or any unauthorized materials to the exam venue, as these could be considered implicating items. NAPADS SETS STAGE FOR 2025 ELECTION

  By: NAPADS Press The National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPADS) is officially setting the democratic wheels in motion for its 2025 departmental elections. In line with the directive of the Head of Department and the student's Staff Advisers, the NAPADS Executive Council has announced the formation of a new Electoral Committee to oversee the entire electoral process. To ensure transparency and information dissemination, representatives from the Press Unit have also been included in the committee. This inclusion marks a significant step toward reinforcing accountability and openness throughout the electoral proceedings.
