Staff Adviser Appointed as New HOD

The staff adviser of Public Administration department, Barrister O.J. Diekola, has been appointed as the new Head of Department. 



The new development was made available to NAPADS Press on the 30th of December, 2022.


However, the incumbent Head Of Department, Dr. (Mrs) R. A. Akinseye, has been declared the Director, Centre for Preliminary and Allied Programme (CAPP).



Barrister O.J. Diekola, the newly appointed Head Of Department, has once served in the same seat years ago.

Oyewo, held an examination briefing which took place at pad hall at exactly 12:40pm today Thursday Feb 27 2025 together with Mr Y.B Wahab and Mrs  Oke Olayinka ahead of the upcoming exams. The briefing aimed to provide clear and detailed information about the context, objectives, procedures, and evaluation criteria of the examination for both stale and fresh students. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the department's dress code, stating that students must wear the official department attire, white and black, to the exam hall. The National Association of Public Administration Students Electoral Committee (NAPADSEC) announced the results of the 2024/25 NAPADS election held through a realease. The election process was led by the Head of Department with the presence of the department lecturers,stakeholders,Electoral Committee of the department,NAPADS press and Candidates Agents to witness and coordinate the voting process. PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
