Glamorous Evening at Public Administration Department's Dinner and Award Night

The Optimum Event Center was adorned with elegance and excitement on the evening of August 19th, 2023, as the highly anticipated Public Administration Department Dinner and Award Night unfolded in a dazzling display of celebration and recognition. Originally scheduled for August 9th, the event had been postponed due to a misappropriation report that was promptly addressed by the department.

Notable lecturers from the esteemed Public Administration Department graced the occasion, including the esteemed Head of Department, Barr. O. J. Diekola, who led a procession of honorees that included Dr. R. A. Akinseye, Mr. A. A. Ganiyu, and Mrs. A. O. Adebayo. The event served as a tribute to their remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the department.

Guests were treated to a captivating range of activities that ranged from inspiring speeches to lively entertainment. The evening commenced with a heartfelt address from the department's Head, Barr. O. J. Diekola, who emphasized the importance of collaboration and dedication in the pursuit of excellence in Public Administration.

The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the presentation of the Award of Honour to the distinguished lecturers and graduands of the department. The misappropriation report, which led to the initial postponement of the event, was addressed transparently by the Planning Committee of the event. Notable dignitaries and student leaders from within and outside the institution also graced the occasion. Maximum security was provided by CSP Olatunji Adesina, the DPO of Sango Police Station along with his patrol team.

PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
