Public Administration Department's Social Director Accused of Embezzling Funds Meant for Dinner and Award Night

In a shocking turn of events, the Social Director of the Public Administration Department, Com. Fakorede Ayomide, is now under investigation for allegedly embezzling funds earmarked for the department's highly anticipated Dinner and Award Night. The event, which was scheduled to take place on August 9th, 2023, has been thrown into disarray barely 24 hours before the event. 

According to preliminary reports, the embezzlement came to light after an internal audit revealed discrepancies in the department's financial records. It is believed that a significant amount of money allocated for the event, including sponsorship contributions and ticket sales, has mysteriously disappeared.

This shocking incident has sent shockwaves through the Public Administration Department, tarnishing its reputation and raising questions about the effectiveness of financial oversight within the department. As the investigation unfolds, students and stakeholders eagerly await answers and justice for the misappropriated funds.

According to an audio clip of the Departmental President, Com. Ude Chinaza Nnenna, the accused Social Director had been coming up with various excuses and even advised that the president should seek a loan to finance the event. In her words, "After much disturbance from leaders and stakeholders from my class, he opened up that he has spent the money." 

As of the time of filling this report, the accused Social Director, Com. Fakorede Ayomide, couldn't be reached on phone and via his WhatsApp.

PROJECT SUPERVISION ALLOCATION FOR HND 2 STUDENTS

By:NAPADS Press The Head of Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, addressed the HND 2 students on project supervision on November 26, 2024 at PAD hall . He assured the students that the list of allocated supervisors would be made available before the end of the week. Dr. Oyewo emphasized the importance of individual effort in project completion, stating that it is an opportunity for students to develop their critical thinking skills and build their confidence. He also announced that a project seminar would be organized to orient students on the basic rules and procedures for successful project writing and defense. The Head of Department strictly advised students with pending issues to resolve them promptly to avoid delays in project allocation. He warned that late completion of projects would result in an additional year of project writing.
