Important Message to Members of Graduating Classes (HNDII and ND II), Public Administration Department The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

Dear Members of Graduating Classes (HND II and ND II), Public Administration Department, The Polytechnic, Ibadan 

As you approach the culmination of your academic journey with the final exam on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each of you. This moment marks a significant milestone in your educational and professional development, and it is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

In light of this, I urge you all to conduct yourselves peacefully and responsibly after the exams. Specifically, humbly ask that you demonstrate respect for the academic environment: The Polytechnic campus is a place of learning and scholarship. It is important to respect this environment by celebrating in ways that do not disrupt others who are still engaged in their studies or research. 

Also, kindly note that peaceful conduct ensures the safety and well-being of all students and members of staff. I therefore, strongly advise you to avoiding any form of violence or disorderly behavior prevents accidents and injuries. Further, no student should invite any friend or associate to exam venue under whatever guise. The Department has resolved to seriously deal with any individual or group that cause or attempt to cause any form of mayhem.  

Further, I appeal to you to guide and protect the reputation of our noble Department. As students of Public Administration, you are ambassadors of your discipline. How you conduct yourselves reflects not only on you as individuals but also on your reputation and that of the Institution at large.

Lastly, remember that your peaceful conduct after the exams will be a testament to your maturity, leadership, and readiness to step into the professional world of public administration. Let us all work together to ensure that this significant day is remembered for the right reasons.

Congratulations once again on reaching this important milestone. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
