NAPADS DECIDES 25: HOST MANIFESTO AND STATE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE UPCOMING ELECTION

The highly anticipated manifesto event drew students from all levels to the PAD Lecture Hall 2 on Wednesday afternoon, November 6, 2024, at precisely 1:15 PM.

Notable lecturers from Public Administration Department attended, including the Head of the Department, Dr. O.O. Oyewo, alongside with Dr. R.A. Akinseye, Mr. Y.B. Wahab, Mrs. O.A. Oke, and Mrs. D.G. Olaoye. This manifesto served as a platform for the aspirants to present their plans for the students and to outline how they intend to advance the department.


Students enjoyed a captivating range of presentations featuring inspiring speeches and thorough practical explanations during the question-and-answer session. The event began with a heartfelt address from Dr. O.O. Oyewo, who emphasized the importance of voting based on individual capability rather than favoritism. He encouraged all aspirants to collaborate closely with the department to achieve meaningful success in their administration.

Mr. Y.B. Wahab also stressed the importance of being empirical and practical, stating that real-world explanations are far more valuable than making promises that cannot be fulfilled.


All sixteen aspirants presented their manifestos, shared insights from their journeys, and outlined their plans for moving the department forward.

Dr. R.A. Akinseye reminded the aspirants to prioritize the welfare of the students, emphasizing that their well-being should not be overlooked. She concluded the event by outlining the requirements for voting, targeting students eligible to vote in the upcoming election.


**Requirements for Voting**

Voting will be conducted in each class. 

- HND 1 and ND 1 students must bring their acceptance fee receipt to be eligible to vote.- 

- HND 2 and ND 2 students must bring their ID cards.

All aspirants have until 11:59 PM to campaign and publicize their manifestos. Any aspirant who fails to adhere to this rule will face disqualification.
