By: Blessing Adeleke

National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPADS) has released a memo calling on interested public administration students to register for membership in the Student Representative Council (SRC). This announcement marks an exciting opportunity for students to get involved in leadership and advocacy roles within their academic community.

According to the memo released from the office of the NAPADS President, students from all levels (ND 1- HND 2) are eligible to register, provided they meet the specified criteria starting from Monday  6th Jan, 2025 and closes on Friday 10th Jan, 2025. These include submitting a provisional admission letter, NAPADS receipt, and acceptance fee receipt to the NAPADS General Secretary.

The SRC plays a vital role in representing the interests and welfare of students, advising the current administration on student-related matters, and promoting student engagement in extracurricular activities As a member of the SRC, students will have the chance to develop valuable leadership skills, work collaboratively with their peers, and contribute to shaping the academic experience for public administration students.

Interested students are encouraged to seize this opportunity to make a positive impact on their academic community. By registering for SRC membership, students can take the first step towards becoming part of a dynamic team that advocates for student interests and promotes a supportive and inclusive academic environment.

For more information on the registration process and criteria, students can contact the NAPADS General Secretary.
