The process culminated in the emergence of Aluko Adedeji David, the presidential candidate of the RISE Agenda, as President-elect. The election was conducted under the capable leadership of the incumbent departmental president, Comrade Adekanbi Adeyinka Oluwapelumi, with the full support of the Electoral Committee chaired by Comrade Olumide Mulero.
