The process culminated in the emergence of Aluko Adedeji David, the presidential candidate of the RISE Agenda, as President-elect. The election was conducted under the capable leadership of the incumbent departmental president, Comrade Adekanbi Adeyinka Oluwapelumi, with the full support of the Electoral Committee chaired by Comrade Olumide Mulero. Oyewo, addressed students on the conduct expected during the forthcoming Second Semester Examination. Dr. Oyewo began by commending the dedication and support of Mr. Y. B. Wahab and Mrs. Olayinka, acknowledging their consistent contributions to the department and their invaluable roles in facilitating a smooth and credible student election process. In his address, Dr. Oyewo reiterated that the department’s examination rules remain unchanged, emphasizing the zero-tolerance stance on examination malpractice. He warned that any student found engaging in any form of malpractice will face strict disciplinary actions as outlined by departmental and institutional policies.
