WORKSHOP SEMINAR: HND 2 ADMINISTRATORS SHOWCASE THEIR PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS.

The seminar was the practical aspect of the HND 2 course titled "Workshop in Administration", which aimed to expose the students to the real-life challenges and opportunities in the field of public administration. The seminar was anchored by Mr. Yusuf Wahab, a lecturer of the department, who introduced the guests and dignitaries present. They included lecturers of the department, the internal assessor, Alhaji Azeez Lukman, from the Department of Local Government and Development Studies of the institution, and the external assessor, Dr. Idowu Johnson, from the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan. PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT HOLD FIRST-EVER SEMINAR FOR ND STUDENTS

The seminar, which was part of the course requirement for the course "Seminar in Public Administration", was held at Sewage Hall 1 and featured presentations by 18 groups of students on various topics related to public administration. The seminar was anchored by Mr. Yusuf Wahab, a lecturer of the department, welcomed the participants and introduced the dignitaries present. The programme started with an opening prayer by Mrs. Adebayo Adeyinka, another lecturer of the department, followed by the recitation of the National Anthem and the Oyo State anthem by everyone present. NAPADS ORIENTATION: FUNMIFREEDOM STOLE THE SHOW

The programme, organized by the department's executive arm, aimed to inform the students about the rules and regulations of the institution. Several guest lecturers, including Dr. Muyiwa Ọjọ (Language Arts Department), Barr. Adebisi Shittu (Criminology and Security Studies Department), Mr. Kehinde Moradeyo (CIDM), Mrs. Fawibe (Security Unit of the Institution), and the Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Makinde John, delivered insightful lectures on how to make the most of the students' stay in the institution. However, for some students like me, the most memorable part of the programme was the performance of a spoken word artist named Fúnmifreedom. NAPADS ORIENTATION: EDUCATION IS NOT A SCAM, SAYS DR. MUYIWA OJO

The program which started by 10am was moderated by Akinade Ridwan and Oluwagbemiga Faith. Mrs Olayinka Oke opened the event with prayers and following this was the recitation of National Anthem, Oyo State anthem and The Polytechnic, Ibadan Anthem by everyone present at the event.  Mr Y. NAPADS EXECUTIVES RE-SCHEDULE ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR FRESH STUDENTS

 By: Oladele Ezekiel Oluwatobi The National Association of Public Administration students announced the new date of the orientation program for fresh students that was suspended. This was contained in a release that was E-signed by the President Com. Mufutau Ridwan, the General Secretary, Com. Olalekan Qudus and E-broadcast by Com. Amos Olamide on Thursday, the 11th January, 2024 at exactly 7:45 pm. After much deliberation by the NAPADS Executives, the program which was formerly scheduled to hold on the 5th December, 2023 is now slated to be held on Thursday, the 18th January , 2024, at Sewage Hall 1 by 10:00 am prompt. The orientation program is meant to educate the fresh students on the ethics of the department and allow them to be familiar with the lecturers and other students of the department at large, the memo reads.

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT SET TO HOLD 23/24 WORKSHOP PRESENTATION PROGRAMME

 By: Oladele Ezekiel Oluwatobi Today, the 10th January, 2024, an internal memorandum was released from the office of The Head of Public Administration department, Dr. O.O Oyewo inviting all the Lecturers of the department to the 2023/24 workshop presentation of HND ll students. The workshop program is set to be held on the 24th of January, 2024 at Sewage Hall 1, by 10:00 am. However, the workshop programme intends to widen the horizon of Public Administration students in doing research, as well as enhancing their public speaking skills, allowing all other levels in the department to learn from their HND 2 colleagues.

Stealing the spotlight was the outstanding Okunlola Adebukola Rofiat, who emerged as the HND Best Graduating Student in the prestigious Public Administration Department for the 2022/2023 academic session. Okunlola's triumph was not merely a routine victory; it was a testament to her unwavering commitment to academic brilliance. Graduating with Distinction, a distinction that mirrors First Class Honors, she showcased a level of intellectual prowess that set her apart. NAPADS SET TO HOST ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR FRESH STUDENTS

Amos Olamide Samuel, earlier today the 1st of December, 2023, announced the readiness of the association to hold orientation program for fresh students. The event which is intended to educate the freshers (ND 1 and HND 1) of the department on the norms and ethics of the department as well as to familiarize themselves with the students and lecturers of the department, of which is believed to be instrumental to their academic pursuit. However, the Orientation program is set to hold on the 5th December, 2023, by 10:00am prompt at Sewage Hall 1. The association hereby congratulates and wishes the newly admitted students of the department a successful academic year.

UNITY AND SPORTSMAN: NAPADS ORGANIZES A HITCH FREE FRIENDLY MATCH, ND 1 B OUTSHINES HND 2

The match which happened at noon yesterday, the 29th of November, 2023 at the Main Pitch, North Campus, The Polytechnic, Ibadan. The friendly match was staged in three segments. Isco, an Nd1 (team A) students provided a goal and an assist as they defeated the Part-time students with 2 goals to null. The second kick-off started with a first-half draw between the ND 2 and HND 1  students. However, the second half of the match started roughly from both sides But Posi, an HND 1 student delivered a prowess kick that led to a goal, and accorded the win to HND 1 as the match ended with 2 goals to 1. The third phase of the match  began at exactly 3:10 pm between ND 1 (team b) and HND 2 students. Muslim Administrators set to Host Orientation Program on Islamic Dress Code
